Assistance on arrival at Chennai Apt. and transfer to the hotel. Later visit St. George Church, the Kapileshwara, the Mylapore Temple and finally Marina Beach, the second longest beach in the world. Overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast drive to Mahabalipuram or Mamallapuram. On arrival check in at the hotel. Later visit the famous shore temple of Mamallapuram which stands on the seashore with its paved forecourts. Early rock-cut temples excavated from the hillside near the centre of the village have large carved panels depicting stories from Indian mythology. Several man-made caves are scattered through the area. Then there are the rathas, “chariots”, carved in situ from single boulders, to resemble temples or the chariots used in temple processions. Overnight at the hotel in Mamallapuram.

After breakfast drive to Pondicherry. On arrival check in at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Pondicherry.

After breakfast, take a sightseeing tour visiting Sri Aurobindo Ashram and the Ecole Françoise d’Extreme Orient, the Jesuit Cathedral (Notre Dame de la Conception’ 1691-1765), The Church of Our Lady of Angels (1855), famous for an oil painting of Our Lady of Assumption given to the Church by King Louis Napoleon III, and the 17th century Chapel of Our Sisters of Cluny. Overnight stay at the hotel in Pondicherry.

After breakfast drive to Chidambaram. On arrival check in at the hotel. Later sightseeing of Chidambaram including Vadieeswaran Temple, Pitchavaram backwater, Pichavaram Mangrove Forest, Nataraja Temple, Annamalai University etc. Overnight at the htel in Chidambaram.

After breakfast drive to Tranquebar. On arrival check in at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Tranquebar.

After breakfast embark upon a sightseeing tour of this former Danish colony and visit places such as Dansborg or the Danish fort and its museum, the Commander’s House and Rehling’s House, the king’s street famous for the Town Gate, New Jerusalem Church and Zion Church. Overnight at the hotel in Tranquebar.

After breakfast drive to Chennai. On arrival check in at the hotel. Later free time for shopping etc. Overnight at the hotel in Chennai.

Tour ends after breakfast. Later transfer to Chennai airport.
